I have lived and worked in the Himalaya for more than two of the past three decades. My objective has been to introduce personally selected, high quality, intrinsically beautiful area rugs, ethnic crafts,  jewelery,  door hardware, handcast homewares, painted furniture in the western market, while supporting local craftspeople. I buy directly from family-owned area rug mills, cottage industries and women's income raising projects whenever possible, and make assurances that they treat their weavers and artisans with respect, as well as provide medical attention and day care, when needed.

Through years of experience and association with Tibetan area rug, local craft and jewelery producers,  I have come to work closely with the mills and craftspeople that consistently provide a high quality product. In the process, I feel that I, and my clients, are supporting the traditional arts of Tibetan and Nepalese craftsmen, at the same time that we are helping to provide them with a livelihood.
